For the past few years we are witnessing the explosion of mobile learning (m-learning) at all levels of education. While many see m-learning as an extension of e-learning, learning everywhere and anywhere by using mobile technologies offers additional value to the learning process.
This paper explores characteristics of mobile learning and their usage in practice. It presents results of a web survey conducted among students enroled into Croatian universities, politechnics and colleges about their usage of mobile devices and technologies for learning, and attitudes about m-learning in general.
