Towards the IT Support of Processes in Small Software Companies

Abstract

Regarding multiple surveys, there is a potential for an improvement of the IT support of processes in small software companies. For this purpose, it is firstly necessary to define a small software company process model. When defining the model, multiple available resources were taken into account, e.g. CMMI, ISO 12207, ISO 29110, MoProSoft, MPS.br, ERP system reference models etc. Based on these resources, the Small Software Company Process Model is outlined.
