Abstract

Participation in a students’ mobility is experience that can enrich one's life. First things that come to one’s mind when thinking about mobility are living abroad, meeting new people, learning new languages, international environment...

To determine positive aspects of the mobility, but also its problems, a survey was conducted at 3 universities – University of Zagreb (Croatia), Karl-Franzens University of Graz (Austria) and University College Cork (Ireland). Survey was conducted among 3 International offices and incoming and outgoing students of those universities (N=336).

The aim of the research was to show the advantages and disadvantages of the mobility, to point out the problems students are facing during their mobility and use their experiences to highlight necessary improvements. In addition, the goal was to popularize mobility through positive changes that students have experienced and the benefits that they have pointed out.
