Abstract

The development of e-Government at the local level is becoming the subject of interest of many researchers. The prevailing opinion is that e-Government is developing as an evolutionary model  and while evaluating the status and maturity of the e-Government the e-Government Maturity Model (eGMM) is in use. During 2009,  a survey of maturity of the towns' Web sites in Croatia was conducted. According to the evaluation results the local e-government and the e-services are in the first stage in the majority of towns in Croatia. Analysis confirmed a positive correlation between the town size and the maturity of Web sites  as well as between the town budget and the maturity of Web sites.
