Abstract


The purpose of this paper is to find out the extent to which high school students consider the project based learning successful within the scope of developing their skills and the extent to which they consider themselves ready to work in this way regarding the experience they have had with it. The paper shows the development and the design of multimedia educative materials performed through the optional secondary school courses. The content is based on a further development of the existing classic teaching materials through the project based learning. The purpose of these activities is to provide for an interactive learning and to train students-through the clearly defined and challenging tasks-to develop and acquire the practical skills of programming, graphic designing, producing multimedia elements, planning of projects, team working; Creative skills are also to be acquired, namely critical thinking, problem-solving, interpretation and visualization.
