Abstract

In the course of a few years automatic language translation has gain huge impact in social interaction. Despite the facts that translated text is far from perfect people know when and where to use it. For a person who has an insight into the automatic language translation it is possible to prepare the text in one language that is easily translatable into others. In general a translator or interpreter is still very much necessity in the intercultural communications. Analysis of the students’ performance shows that most problems in the translation is the problem of language specific use where word by word translation gives useless or wrong meaning. Therefore phrases are hard to translate. In our project we have to develop software support for phrase translation. The most important aspect is not the database but search engine. In the article we are going to explain our approach and shows principles that enables us to finish our task successfully.
