Abstract

In modern society having good educational system isn’t enough. Today’s educational system has to provide answers for the jobs that will be present in five to ten years while taking into consideration that future jobs are drastically changing and labor market is eager for highly educated workers. Having this in mind, every country that wants to respond to current and future labor market needs has to have a good dialog among those two sectors. In this article we are focusing on the state of labor market in Croatia while taking into consideration national strategies and documents, student standard, international survey results, as well as financing of higher education that should provide highly educated workers for the future jobs.
