Abstract

It has passed nearly two years since we have prepared the e-learning materials for the 3rd grade of primary school. During this time we have had continuous communication with the users of these materials. Primary school teachers and their students used the materials frequently during the whole period. From the available data that we have gathered we have performed different types of analysis, and the findings are really interesting. The comparison shows a very different frequency of the use of social and natural science topics. The tests that we have prepared as a part of materials are much less used than learning matter itself. Structured topics are more frequently used than monolithic ones. Teachers give us satisfactory responses about using the materials, but they do not spend the entire one-hour lesson on one material. Their suggestions about using materials could be grouped into four categories: motivation, additional explanation, repetition, and test.

Our e-learning materials which cover natural science topics are used very frequently. The implication of this fact is that students gain natural science and digital competences which are favorable for their age.
