Abstract


Usage of information and communication technology (ICT) is very important part of higher education. Level of teachers and students information literacy is important factor in developing university curriculums and courses.

The main goal of comparative research that was conducted in sixth different countries was to estimate the level of student’s satisfaction with the access to different sources of information literacy such as access to the computer technology, access to the library resource. The research also provides results of desire for improving oral and written communication skills. Respondents were students from one Austrian, Albanian and Croatian university in Europe, then two Asian universities form Japan and China and one American Universities. Results were interpreted in the context of cultural differences.
